About Me

My Family

God has blessed me with my husband Keith and son KJ.

My Story

I was blessed to have a grandmother who valued church and the role it could play in my upbringing. At a young age I accepted Christ into my life and was baptized. Shortly after, the dynamics of my life changed. I didn’t grow-up under the greatest of circumstances and made many mistakes that God would later use to strengthen my reliance on Him rather than myself and others. As a teen I decided that it was “me, myself, and I” and although God provided influential people to speak, teach, and plant seeds along my journey, I felt I had a better understanding of how to run my life and the hurt that I endured was greater than the God that was pursuing me. It was when I was in my early to mid-twenties and a single mom that God asked, “are you tired yet”. During this time, I decided to be re-baptized and live for Christ each day more than I had the previous. I started asking God to search my heart and remove anything and anyone that did not align with his mission for me. The process was not always pretty, but the roots that were planted in me as a child provided a foundation to stand on and allowed for God’s voice to rise. Learning to hear God’s voice, at such a young age has inspired me to give my life to helping children experience the same Good God and plant a foundation to grow in His love for a lifetime. What God has done and continues to do in my life brings humbleness and joy that can’t be contained. It’s such a blessing to be a small part of what God is doing in our kids and showing them how much they are loved by Him.
