My family

My husband Ariel and I have been married since 2023. We are a blended family with two young girls: Eliana and Kamila.

My story

I was born in California as the youngest of three girls. I grew up in a loosely Catholic home, but by the age of 10, I had decided I didn’t want a relationship with the Lord. What I saw and experienced in life didn’t seem to align with what I heard about God, so I spent much of my youth and early adulthood leaning on my own understanding. By the world’s standards, I was doing well—pursuing higher education, earning degrees in Business Administration Management and Operations & Supply Chain Management, and building a career I was proud of.

I worked in hospitality for a few years before joining Amazon, where I spent nearly five years growing, learning, and chasing what I thought would bring fulfillment: financial stability, success, and achievement. Yet, no matter how much I “checked the boxes,” I remained empty and spiritually broken, especially in my relationships. In 2019, I moved from California to Houston for a work opportunity, and then to Austin in 2020, right as COVID began. That season became a turning point in my story. When I became pregnant with my daughter, I walked through some of the darkest valleys of my life.

In my brokenness, I began seeking God and going to church, though I didn’t yet know how to truly let Him lead. It wasn’t until I was hospitalized a week after giving birth that a nurse shared the gospel with me and walked me through salvation. That moment changed everything—I surrendered my life to Jesus. From there, I found a church home, joined small groups, and began building community rooted in faith. Step by step, the Lord began rewriting my story. In 2024, my husband and I moved to Cypress, Texas, where God faithfully led us to CyLife Church. Through this community and serving, I’ve learned more deeply about His love, His calling, and His faithfulness than I ever imagined possible.
