My family
I am engaged to my future wife Victoria and am getting married in May of 2026!
My story
I grew up in a home with my parents and my sister. I had always known that God was real, and I went to church every once in a while because my grandpa was a pastor, but my home life led me to want nothing to do with God. My dad was an abusive alcoholic who ended up in prison, which led to my parent's divorce and lots of brokenness in my family. However, in my freshmen year of high school, I began finding consistent community in our student ministry here at CyLife Church. I began connecting with my small group and realizing how much love Jesus was showing me through the people he had put in my life. He also revealed to me the different things I was putting my identity in and how they were negatively affecting my life.
I gave my life to Jesus in February 2020 during a miraculous encounter with the Holy Spirit. However, I still struggled with identity issues after that. My identity was completely centered around how talented of a musician I could be, and I continued striving to go to music school and wanted nothing more than to climb up the ladder in the music scene. In the summer of 2023, God made it crystal clear that he was calling me to vocational ministry instead of becoming a musical educator. I was immediately devasted to have to give this up, but once I began interning here at CyLife and obeying the path he had created, I quickly discovered the beauty of his calling over my life, and that it was for my good! I started working at CyLife with our worship team full-time in January of 2025 and have been loving it since!
