I’m blessed to be married to my best friend, Chrissy! We are a blended family who, together, have five girls between us! Yes, five! They range from teen to mid-twenties.

Originally born in Alabama, but my parents moved to Texas for work when I was two years old. So, while I was not born here, like they say, “I got here as fast as I could.” I grew up right on the northwest side of Houston. I attended Eisenhower HS, (swoop, swoop!) and later would attend Houston Community College for a brief time. However, growing up, I’d spend most summers with my aunt and uncle in Mississippi. My aunt was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and I credit her largely for the foundation of my faith. Because of her, I would attend a little Baptist church every Sunday during those summers, one of which I accepted Jesus as my savior in response to a good ole fashion alter call. I was baptized shortly thereafter. As a teen, I had grown to be “too cool” to spend my summers there anymore. Sadly, that allowed me to drift far from my faith. Fast forward into adulthood, I worked in corporate accounting for years climbing the corporate latter. Then God. He reminded me that He was my salvation and had

always been gently calling me back to Him. My wife and I landed in a church recently committed to relational discipleship and it radically changed our lives. We went from unchurched to being sold out for the Lord. Since then, He’s done so many wonderful things! One of which was to allow me to step into full-time ministry, complete Bible college, become ordained and to serve in multiple levels of leadership in His church!
