The Foster Care and Adoption Ministry (FAM) is kicking off this Christmas season by taking care of some of the most underserved members of the fostering community, the DFPS caseworkers. CyLife is partnering with Entrusted Houston to help support approximately 70 Harris County DFPS workers. Every child in foster care has a DFPS employee assigned to them who may have a caseload of up to twenty plus kids. The unfortunate reality is that these workers receive little support or encouragement. We can help foster families by supporting and encouraging these workers in the trenches by coming alongside them to make sure they are celebrated and seen.  

One year commitment to encourage a worker, minimum contact once a month. Some ways you can support your worker is by including them in your daily prayers, send scripture, write letters or cards of encouragement, and celebrate their birthday and holidays.

In the registration link, you can select the name(s) of caseworkers to support. Once you register, you will receive an email with contact information about your caseworker and a list of their favorite things.
