My family
Lauren and I have been married for 15 years, and we are blessed with two boys, Luke and Wyatt.
My story
I was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!), as the youngest of six children. I didn’t know Jesus growing up; while I believed in God, I never had a relationship with Him.
From a very young age, I knew I wanted to serve my community as a firefighter, and I fulfilled that calling for 21 years as a firefighter and paramedic. My experience as a first responder taught me the importance of service, communication, leadership, and how my actions can have a profound impact on someone’s life.
A significant part of my personal and spiritual growth can be attributed to Lauren, who has stood by my side through every season. I didn’t know Jesus until my mid-20s, but Lauren challenged me to always strive to be a Godly man, helping me work through the challenges I faced as a result of my work. Now, I use my experiences to combat the unseen fires that Satan ignites and to save lives in a different way.
I am passionate about following the command that Jesus gave us in the book of Matthew: to go out and make disciples. This is now my way of life—to love and live like Jesus.
